Once again, the extraordinary talent of Hall High School’s Pops ‘n Jazz players went unmatched last month, as the more than 100 student performers from the school's Concert Jazz Band, Jazz Band II, Jazz Dancers, Choraliers (singers), and Giovani Solisti (string players) showcased what they do best. The 68th annual production explored the magic behind the music with a theatrical theme of “Putting It Together,” demonstrating what each student brings to this massive collaboration of jazz, dance, show tunes and more. Each night featured a guest performer, including Javier Colon (pictured), saxophonists Sarah Hanahan and Jason Marshal, trumpeter Jeremy Pelt and trombonist Mariel Billdsten.
