A century old: Garden club is still growing and going
Audrey Hepburn once said that “to plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.” The Wethersfield Garden Club has been believing in tomorrow for 100 years. Founded in 1926 by a group of civic-minded women, the sole purpose was to stimulate a greater interest in flowers so that this town would be famed for its beautiful gardens.

LIFE in the classroom: Their design skills help a child to walk
It’s not often that high school students have an opportunity to put what they are learning into practice in a way that directly benefits someone else. The members of the JETS Engineering Design Team at Wethersfield High School were able to do just that and by using their knowledge and skills they enabled a young boy with a disability to walk.
